The MBT Board of Directors is composed of members representing a range of ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds. They each bring a unique perspective to the board in helping promote the MBT mission and maintain MBT’s long-term success.

President & Executive Chair

​James (Jay) is a litigator with the law firm of Allen & Overy LLP, and Jay's practice focuses on intellectual property, international trade, and competition matters in federal tribunals around the country.

Vice President 

Steve is Owner and Managing Director for Supporting Strategies.  Since 2018, Steve has been helping businesses by providing accounting services to growing businesses.  His consultative and partnership approach has helped him win many awards, including being the 2022 Gaithersburg- Germantown Chamber Small Business of the Year. 

Elizabeth Catlett

ELIZABETH CATLETT
Artistic & Executive Director

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Ms. Catlett began her dance training with the University of Louisville Dance Academy. Her passion for teaching and choreographing led her to Radford University where she earned a B.S. in Dance Education. Ms. Catlett has performed

David Mccormick-Goodhart

DAVID MCCORMICK-GOODHART
Secretary & Governance Committee Chair

David is a financial advisor in Savant Capital’s McLean, VA, office and a member of Savant’s Advisory Team. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the financial planning and investment process for Savant’s clients.

Euna Patil worked in the DC market for over 20 years and is experienced in working with public and private companies of all sizes from start-up to Fortune 500 with a combination of expertise in finance/accounting operations, external and internal audit, and IT audits, spanning strategy, management and operations.

STEPHANIE WENDELL
Business Director

(non-voting, liaison to all committees, prominently Race, Equity, Inclusion Committee)

Stephanie Wendell, originally from Morgantown, WV, began dancing at age 3 and it has been her passion ever since! She studied with Larraine Susa in Uniontown, PA, and then graduated from Point Park University with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

EBONY BRUNSON

Ebony Brunson, SHRM-SCP is a Human Resources Strategic Partner in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Global Defense Sector. Mrs. Brunson provides guidance to senior leaders to support HR and People development activities by bringing a consulting mindset to the business.

SHREEYA CHOWDHURY-SIL

Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Shreeya received her bachelors degree in Finance from Temple University. She keeps in touch with her passion for dance through assisting in teaching Contemporary, Jazz, and South Asian dance styles in Philadelphia. Shreeya is also an alumna of Metropolitan Ballet Theatre.

Rebecca Cathcart is a financial advisor who believes in a holistic approach to advising. She connects the new, more analytic trend of "do it yourself" with the tried-and-true Financial Advisor/Client relationship.

Mackenzie studied ballet, jazz, modern, Irish step-dancing, and hip-hop at Metropolitan Ballet Theatre from 2002-2012. She enjoyed performing in The Nutcracker and the Spring Ballet throughout her time at MBT.

MICHELLE GROW

Michelle Grow is the Director of Program Support for the Department of Commerce's (DOC) Office of Financial Management Systems. Ms. Grow manages the budget and acquisition activities for a portfolio of information technology projects related to DOC's financial and administrative systems that support the Department's mission.
