CREATIVE MOVEMENT PROGRAM DETAILS
For MBT’s youngest students, the Creative Movement Program provides an engaging weekly class to start learning fundamentals of ballet technique and vocabulary. Focusing on gross motor skills, this class is taught using imagery, fun games, and music.

Creative Movement students have the option to participate in a Winter Collective and Spring Collective in a traditional theater!

Performing opportunities: Creative Movement students enrolled during semester 1 are eligible to perform at the Winter Collective. Creative Movement students enrolled during semester 2 are eligible to perform at the Spring Collective. There will be a mini-observation week each semester for parents to observe Young Dancer classes. In the instance that we cannot produce planned performances or observation weeks due to health restrictions, videos will be taken in in-studio classes and shared with parents.

EARLY BALLET PROGRAM DETAILS
An extension of the Creative Movement Program, MBT’s Early Ballet Program continues building fundamentals of ballet technique and vocabulary in a fun way. This program begins the transition from gross to fine motor skills. While most of the class is conducted in center exercises, limited barre work begins in Early Ballet 2.
