Students are placed based on their age as of September 1, 2023. Returning students may register online via Parent Portal. For new students, please call 301-762-1757 to register or fill out a form to schedule a trial class to determine your student's level. Students 7+ will require faculty placement.

HIP HOP PROGRAM (AGES 4 - TEEN)
Students will learn the fundamentals of hip hop including popping, house, and grooves. This program will help dancers build a stronger foundation for their hip hop choreography. Hip Hop is highly recommended to dancers who also take ballet, jazz, and modern, as this will help strengthen their hip hop technique and improve their style.

Performing opportunities: Performing opportunities: Hip Hop (7+) students are eligible to perform in The Nutcracker, the Winter Collective, and the Spring Collective. Mini Hip Hop students enrolled during semester 1 are eligible to perform at the Winter Collective. Mini Hip Hop students enrolled during semester 2 are eligible to perform at the Spring Collective. There will be a mini-observation week each semester for parents to observe Young Dancer classes. In the instance that we cannot produce planned performances due to health restrictions, videos will be taken in in-studio classes and shared with parents.
