CURRENT STUDIO PROCEDURES AT GAITHERSBURG: (as of 8/29/22)

(POLICY SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON COVID CASES)

Following MCPS Guidelines, we have made the decision to make masking optional. Effective August 29th, 2022, MBT will be mask optional*.

*Subject to change at any time depending on covid cases. If infection numbers increase, we may reinstate the mask mandate at our studios or in specific classes/levels.

• Gaithersburg student drop off is at the front door and pick up is at the back door. Please follow the one way arrows in the parking lot. If the front door is locked and no one is there to greet you, please ring the doorbell.  

• Pick up will be at the back entrance of our building. Follow the one way arrows and pull up along the right side of the road as close as you can to the curb. If you are the first car, please pull all the way down towards the dumpster to allow more cars to line up behind you. Dancers will be walked to the back of the building at the end of their class. Please call the office to notify our staff if you are running late. Your dancer will be brought back in the building to wait in the front office and you will have to park and ring the doorbell at the front door.   

• Hand sanitizer is available at the door and in all of the studios. 

• If your child is not feeling well, or if any member of your household is sick, please do not send your dancer to class. Makeup classes can be scheduled through the office.

• If you or any member of your household tests positive or has been exposed to COVID-19. please call the office as soon as you can after knowledge of this. If you are unable to reach the office, send an email to brenda@mbtdance.org and elizabeth@mbtdance.org.  

• Please do your best to drop off and pick up promptly and if you know your child will be absent/late/or need to be picked up early from class, notify the office as well. 

 

While we continue to keep our staff and students safe, only dancers will be allowed in the building. Thank you for your understanding.

• Clarksburg students are dropped off and picked up at the front door. If the front door is locked and no one is there to greet you, please ring the doorbell.  

• Hand sanitizer is available at the door and in all of the studios.

• Masks required for visitors participating in student demonstration performances or visitors week class observation

• Masks are required in common areas such as the lobby and bathrooms where students may be around other camp or class groups
