Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, Inc. is a professional, educational, performing arts organization, organized under Maryland nonprofit laws. MBT trains and employs dancers, providing performances and performing opportunities for Maryland and Metropolitan DC residents. As a 501(c)(3) organization under the Federal Internal Revenue Code, MBT receives funding from ticket sales, performance fees, tuition, government grants, and private contributions.
Arts programs presented by Metropolitan Ballet Theatre are made possible in part by a grant from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
Metropolitan Ballet Theatre is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency funded by the State of Maryland and the National Endowment of the Arts.
